1. How has dance developed overtime?
The word dance comes from the Old High German word danson, meaning to drag or stretch, the art of expressive, and graceful human movement, traditionally but not always, performed in accord with musical accompaniment. Dancing developed as a natural expression of united feeling and action to moving with feeling and music.
The earliest history of human dance is a continuing mystery. From the evidence of illustrated ceramic fragments, some archaeologists think that dance originated some 5,000 to 9,000 years ago in early agricultural cultures located from modern Pakistan to the Danube river. Others however, have expressed careful regards in the reconstruction of social behavior from such sources. Specific knowledge of ancient dances is lacking, and many experts have interpreted dance history from the preserved ritual dances of various societies.
Native dances illustrate most of the purposes of dance. It is of a ceremonial nature like the dances of healing, performed by shamans to drive out evil spirits and other tribal concerns. Illustrating events in tribal history or legend and representing cosmic processes like solar or lunar eclipses. Then over time dances have been changed because every dance is not perfect until you perform, it and everyone is able to do that dance.
As an example, I take ballet. King Louis the 14th of France also known as Louis the Great or the Sun King, brought the height of ballet to different level in terms of importance, skill, and practice. During the time of King Louis, only the royal people were allowed to do ballet, but now everyone around the world can do ballet if they want to. Before, dances like ballet were done in theaters, but now dances are almost done anywhere by anyone. When a person wants to express herself in a movement, she may do so anytime. During the time of King Louis ballet was just for amusement for the royal people, but now it’s for people who want to express themselves and have fun through ballet.
Another change in dance is the performance and the people that make dances. Now there are dance schools. Also there is a need for special costumes, music in the background, steps in order, training, and special effects. Dance sometimes will not need any special training and can be done with just random physical actions reactions to the music you dance to or other forms of actions. This can be seen in discos where actions take place randomly. Although these actions may appear randomly, the people performing these reactive actions might use the actions which they are familiar with some other places like dance performances or videos. Overall, dance is changing in many different ways from how to do them or who can do them.

It was formed when a couple interacted together and a long line of dancers formed. Break dancing used martial arts in some of its movements. Eventually, break dance became a world wide dance.

What are the emotions triggered by dance?
Dance can actually trigger many different emotions in many good ways. Some dances make people feel deep emotions. Long time ago, some families were taught that any strong passionate emotion, had to be suppressed. So back then, people had to hide their feelings and expressions. However dance made those sad families happy and be able to express their emotions. This is an example of how dances can trigger our emotions. They change how we feel. When we are sad and we see a funny dance, we become happy. In a Swedish scientist tested a hundred and twelve teenage girls who have neck and back problems, depression and anxiety. Half of the 112 girls took dancing class. while the rest of the girls did not take dancing class. The results were outstanding. The girls who took the dancing classes boosted their moods and now are very happy. However, the other half remained depressed. This is how dances can affect our emotions in such a big way.
Dance is not only body movement but it also communicates feelings, emotions it is also an interaction. Dance is about feeling the steps, the music and your partner. Here are some examples.
Rumba,
is a romantic dance. This dance requires the couple to be connected with each other. In technical senses, this dance is a happy and a romantic dance. It is slow in rhythm but still brings joy to people who watch it because of the connection between the couple.
